What does my castle look like? Well, there is alot of beige and taupes on the walls....mostly neutral tones for the carpet to match the stone flooring in the kitchen and bathrooms.....i opted not to go for curtains and simply have nice sheer scarf swags over the windows. There is a large stone winding stair case in the middle of the lower formal room and the upstairs have about the same color scheme...only a bit darker. All of the rooms are light and airy. The windows are tall and the ceilings are VERY high. Off of the laundry room, which is equiped with the latest in castle laundry equipment is the stairs to the dungeon. I opted for alot of purples and pinks for the dungeon as I am fond of those colors and I spend a lot of time down there. Except for one room.....it is black and silver..we wont talk about that room. I have a large stable in the back to house horses and a lovely pond not far from the house. I have bought miniature mote monsters for is, but alas, I cannot seem to get their diet correct and they keep dying on me. About a half mile from the back of the castle I have a beating post and it is such a hassle keeping it clean. I hear they are coming out with self cleaning posts...I am SOOOO there! I do have a small garden at the side of the castle as well......but I seem to keep the gardner to busy to take care of it properly. He likes the black and silver room. He suggested stobe lights..but I think that is a bit much, dont you? Does anyone know where I can get reliable help? The maids just aren';t beating the sheets hard enough against the rocks and they arent getting them clean enough. Good help is so hard to find these days....
